A feverish prayer.
Die Not, the Poet in Me.

Author Notes:
This free-verse poem is the gist of all that I tell myself during my dark and lonely moments. It is a feverish prayer, one which I find myself repeating over and over again until I finally either convince or fool myself successfully and start believing these words for a few more days.
This is me motivating and coaxing myself to live on and survive and just make it, overall. And what is a little self love and self encouragement if it keeps on giving you the hope for a better and brighter future.
I like writing and I am beginning to understand the art and skill behind it by the day. As long as my writings keep giving me a sense of purpose and peace, I know that I will keep coming back with a pen in hand stronger and braver than any time before! :-)
The image I choose reflects a growing sense of worry in me that if I stopped writing even for a month then there is so much content I would never be able to cover. Poems that will never be written and stories that will never be told. I have quite a lot to say and I have only just begun. So, I hope I end up becoming a gift that keeps on giving! If not, I can still dream, right?
