Abide In Him

I am not always right,
that's why in Christ I abide.
There are so many times
I have to swallow my PRIDE.

At times I don't feel
like going the extra mile,
but it's worth it all
to see someone else's SMILE.

If something's HEAVY on my heart, He reminds me of His crown.
I get a sense of RELIEF,
when I lay my burdens down.

There was turmoil in the air
as soon as Christ began to BREATHE.
The devil started his evil plot,
to see whom he could deceive.

OPEN up your heart to Him,
His mercies are new each day.
When you let Him be the lead,
He'll be glad to show the way.
