An Alphabet Poem entry

I Wonder Why

Above the wide blue sky what would I find?
Beyond our earthly world in yonder space.
Cautiously I'll creep towards the edge
Devoid of pre-conceived ideas, Go.
Expecting maybe myst'ries from my mind
Free from all restraints that hold me down.
Governed by inquisitive desire
Hurry now before I change my mind.
Indecision often clouds my choice
Justified through trusting inner voice.
Knowledge is a powerful tool in life
Learning by experience a must.
Maybe when I get there will I see
Nothing I imagined it to be.
Other than the blackest darkest night
Perhaps my inner voice this time was right.
Quintessential forces all align
Returning none the wiser by design.
Suppose ? for just one moment I am wrong 
To try again my quest would have to see.
Universal myst'ries all revealed
Victorious the day I see the light.
When I had least expected it to shine
Xanthic by its blinding vision seen.
Yes; all this time these mysteries were mine
Zeroing the need to wonder why.
