World Nude Gardening Day in May

I heard a whisper on the breeze,
In Autumn trees lose all their leaves.
It's Saturday the First of May,
Time for 'World Nude Gardening Day'.
.
When many gard'ners strip their clothes,
And yes I will be one of those.
I know there's some who may complain,
And say "Oh dear, not Mum again."

But yes dear children time has come,
I promise I won't show my bum.
Although it's bare I'll hide behind,
A great big bush That I will find.

I'll prune the roses really quick,
And be real careful not to prick,
My finger, on a thorny bit,
Ensure that I don't scratch one bit.

I'll mow the grass, then pull some weeds,
I'll even plant some tiny seeds.
Rake up the grass upon the ground,
Clean up the mess that I have found.

To verify this day of toil,
Out gard'ning naked in the soil,
I'll take a photo one or two,
When I am done I'll send them through.

And when I see the setting sun,
I'll raise a glass and say what fun,
It is to freely liberate,
And garden naked on this date.

It is 'World Nude Gardening Day'on the First Saturday in May and for quite a few years now I have a bit of fun and partake in some nude gardening and write a poem and take a few photos.
It was the First of May in Australia yesterday ( for us) and I am just posting this today as it is the First of May in other countries so Happy World Nude Gardening Day

My poor suffering husband is my photographer and The image is one of me pruning the native garden discreetly of course lol

I hope you enjoy this bit of fun and hope I don't offend anyone with my bare skin
