Rhyming Quatrains

A Sleepy Poet

Invoking thoughts of reveries
beneath tall pines, magnolia trees;
incorporating wafting winds,
a sleepy poet there begins.

With soothing words she pulls you in;
her words resemble violins
that soothe your brow with calming strains,
providing rest to ease your pains.

Her words are chosen carefully,
entrancing you so peacefully,
to shed your angst as you recline,
while she beguiles you line by line.
