It was so exciting he never would forget it.

Steve's Torment

Steve couldn't stop thinking about summertime
When they kissed he felt so excited and energetic
Hours spent with Trish simply sublime

In winter, Steve was rocked, falling into downtime
He found himself feeling nervously frenetic
Steve couldn't stop thinking about summertime

Steve felt her abrupt departure a crime
He thought their relationship copacetic
Hours spent with Trish simply sublime

Trish left him saying, "Summer wasn't my finest time."
When he heard this his mind became frenetic
Steve couldn't stop thinking about summertime

His heart plummeted over the autumn and wintertime
During the freezing months he felt pathetic
Hours spent with Trish were simply sublime

Hoped he would meet a new someone sometime
His mind wax and became dreamily poetic
Steve couldn't stop thinking about summertime
Hours spent with her were simply sublime
