Writing Prompt This poem is the similar to the rondeau poem. The first and second lines repeat in the middle of the poem and at the end. Although only the first line repeats at the end. The rhyme scheme is normally ABba abAB abbaA(B). More information and an example. |
The next time you brush aside a spiderweb, you might want to meditate on its delicate strength. If human-size, the silk would be tough enough to snag a jetliner. Now, scientists know just how these silken strands get their power: through thousands of even smaller strands that stick together to form this clingy trap.
