Stormy

God's Tantrum

by Wils

Smell the dampness in the air
A thunderstorm is brewing
Grab a candle, be prepared
We’re in for some good viewing

The window is a’rattlin’
As winds pick up the pace
Tree limbs blown across the ground
Please let us in your place

Thunderclaps and lightning strikes
Mother Nature rules the skies
Amusing entertainment
For enquiring little eyes

God’s tantrum has subsided
Leaving grass so fresh and clean
With a rainbow of colour
Reminder of that stormy scene
