A Very Special Call

by Wils

I made a very special call.
Mummy dialed me the number.
A call to God, for us to talk.
After which, I’d lie in slumber.

I made a very special call.
Telling him about my trouble
He listened, did not talk at all.
Wrapped it in a big prayer bubble.

I made a very special call.
Asking Him for some assistance
I think he heard, I felt relieved.
Having Him at a close distance

I made a very special call.
Prayed for friends and family
Time for us to be together.
Just my Holy Father and me
