Germs Yikes!

by tempeste

Spiders, snakes don't keep me awake,
heights, crowds 'n open spaces are kids play;

yet this daredevil, I hate to confess
buckles at the mere thought of germs,
they simply creep me out.

An innate fear for this invisible enemy I already had long before covid appeared.

A sneeze and I'd scoot the other direction instinctively.

Handshakes, hugs, and kisses have never been my cup of tea.

When out and about, hand sanitiser, an accessory, an all-time necessity.

I'd rather squat and pee behind a tree than enter a public toilet;
luckily I live in the countryside where finding some green is an easy thing.
