Love is a well-spring of emotion for self and others.

What is Love?

by HarryT

Like the song says, “Love will keep us together.”
Love is an emotion that binds people to each other -
yet the feeling can manifest in different ways.
Love is a sensitivity that first must emanate deep within the self
then when a proper opportunity arises it can be given to others.

Romantic love is wanting to share each other’s body, heart and soul;
wanting to be with and of your love partner - to share
each other completely. Bonded together with care and
concern for all that makes the other the who - she or he may be.

Please note, love is not limited to sexual intimacy, it has many facets,
indeed, love is a whole that is greater than the sum of its parts.
It is an emotion that is broad and exceedingly complex, an emotion
that has more applications than an octopus has limbs.

Love is brought forth from a bottomless well; it is not limited
to sharing with just one other rather the act of loving
others is needed for the safety and security of humanity;
supportive and helpful love should be given freely to those in need.

Kindness, empathy and giving are the true pillars of love -
the laudable person fulfills the second greatest commandment -
                   "L0VE THY NEIGHBOR AS THY SELF."
