Arnie the carny

by Iza Deleanu

- Mommy, I pat the hat with a bat!

- Silly boy, did you meant to say I pet the bat from the hat?

- No, mommy. I pat it with a bat, and also, I got a stick with a slick.

- Is that a lollipop?

- Yup. It sticks to the stick. Can I take a lick?

- No! It's minus fifteen, wait until we go home.

- Look at that chick looks like a geek.

- Arnie, that's your sister.

- Wow, what a glister with a twister!

- Arnie!

- Sorry, mommy. When is Santa coming?

- In fifteen days.

- Nooooo. It's Santa from Atlanta?

- Arnie is coming from the North Pole.

- Pole with a bow taking a toll.

- Arnie, you better go to sleep; you are so silly tonight.

- Night, white, change the light. Good night, mommy and silly Milly, Arnie from carny!
