Music to forget

by trimple

A Lapis witch; vagina blue,
threw salt across a midnight sky.
Her polka-dots of havoc grew
as blackbird-braille of music new...

An instrument unlike the harp,
this screeching, stringless sound, so sharp
it pierced the ears of pig and corn,
each drum it wrought, outstretched and torn.

The trumpets buckled, cellos squeaked,
disgusted violins all shrieked;
their wooden bones and metal lung
straight towards her cauldron flung...

A strange, delightful Halloween,
the likes of witches often dream...
