Excellent
Not yet exceptional. When the exceptional rating is reached this is highlighted
Looking, waiting, wondering when will it end.

time never was

by thoughtgame2

We assume that a moment will be here forever
while deleting the last second that was shown.
We want to believe there is a place that has
never changed its rhythm or tone.

When we capture our seconds and change them
to fables who helps to hold time in its place?
As quick as we fall fast asleep in our thoughts
another chapter has joined in the race.

Each hand held by another
each breeze lifting the colors
off the heads of the loveliest of dawns
combined they bare witness
to the worst kind of facts
when time reaches time_
time never sends it back.

It follows the night and feeds on the dark
when the world [again] losses its complexion.
Perhaps when the moon spots the lost lark
its movement will change its direction.

Sweat glides down your face with mixed tears of dismay
while you stare in times place with nothing to say.

You know time never was or perhaps could not be,
more than a minute to treasure...
or less than a second to see...

Then its gone...to never be.
See!

Just when you think you know nothing, you realize you are not alone in that thought.
