An unexpected affair

Big Tex rides again

by Brad Bennett

Freddy is standing behind a one-way glass, studying three attractive women. “I like that one," he says, pointing at the tall girl in the middle. “The blond, with the blue mask.”

"Ah, Corinna," the ranch host nods approvingly. "An excellent choice."

“Is she available?”

"Oh, yes. You’re in luck, she's new, and, she’s open tonight. But first, just a few questions, we must follow house rules."

“Um, OK, as long as it’s discreet. I’m, a, married. I thought I should inform you of that.”

“No problem sir, whatever you tell us will not leave this room.”

“Good. I'm here because my wife, Alice, works nights. And I work days. So, we have little time together. I, um, think this solution will meet my needs."

“Perfectly understandable. It’s a common problem these days. What with COVID-19, jobs in Nevada are hard to come by."

“Yeah, it's been difficult, Alice and I are very lucky to have found work."

"Here’s her medical report, Freddy. All our girls are medically approved. No viruses. We also have your report. So all I need is for you to sign this release, and you two can meet up."

At the back of the ranch complex, sits a group of western style cabins. The host guides Freddy around to his unit. “We’ve reserved you the Texan suite." The man informs him. "One of our favorites."

"I like it. Can I get dressed inside?”

"Yes, your western getup is provided, and you have the cabin until 11 pm. Corinna will be arriving soon. Your name is Big Tex!" he winks.

Fred enters and sees his outfit on the bed. He examines it. It's perfect. The big ten-gallon hat will help set the mood. The last touch–a special COVID-19 mask with paisley images around it. He puts on the big hat and mask. He looks like a gay bandit from a Hoot Gibson oater.

Someone is approaching
—he takes a peek out the window. It's Corinna in a short cowgirl skirt. The clunk, clunk of her cowboy boots echos on the wooden porch. She knocks.

“Come on in,” he drawls, his heart pulsating.

The door opens, Corinna enters and shuts the door. Atop her blond hair, is a wide brimmed hat, her blouse pressing tight. She's wearing a matching mask.

"Well, Hello, Big Tex!” she announces in a mock
bordelo purr.

Fred’s heart begins racing. He's nervous. This is all new for him. “Why don’t you undress first?” mumbling through his mask.

“Okay,” she agrees, hesitating a bit. Then she takes off her hat and throws it on a chair. "Um, they tell me you’re safe, and I know I am. So, let's take off these masks," she suggests.

“Good idea,” Fred answers, and together they pull off their masks.

Corinna tosses her head and shakes out her blond hair.

Fred glances over as she raises her head up.

“ALICE!" He blurts out

“FREDDY!” she gasps.
