We Are Leaves

by Taminang Therese N

You are the reason that she eats,
Take off your stalks, and get her dead,
So useful your midrib and blade,
Your veins, the food goes.

On bright sunny days, looking green,
You broaden and you sip bad air,
With water, you do the potting,
Your Mom's dinner's done.

What generous guys you are?
With mankind, you share with great love,
Feeding and treating their ailments,
Same, they apex fresh.

Fall, even as you go to rest,
Give me this nice photo to keep,
Oh! Sweet memories of leaves life,
Gifts, so great to all.
