His secret kept mastered a plan,
between the three knowledge most real.
One woman, a man, his command,
who revealed allowing a steal.
Out the shack mystery remains,
during night's darkness lives were lost.
None pled guilty, innocent claims,
life's cost, memories embossed.
The man's command revealed his plan,
it's one woman his wedded wife.
She entertained a foreign land,
his heart now engulfed for her strife.
With heavy burden and greater cause
pistols sought mystery's evil.
Two men, a revolver, war's laws,
shot her dead proud as a steeple.
| Author Notes | The man was a leader in the french resistance and the second man was a commando in the British army working along side him. The woman truly was his wife ... I heard the story first hand from the commando who became a good friend of mine. |

He travelled distant lands afar,
emotions notion dark--
A lesson soul remembered well,
emotions token harks.
Unknown peasants revealed a secret,
emotions knowledge teach--
Without refrain desire explained,
emotions hostage reach.
The peasants set two hungry dogs,
emotions great dark host--
Which will win he asked delighted,
the one you feed the most.
"... A dark emotion's very thought ..."
