Pun-ting on the Thames

Poetry Contest
Write a poem, rhymed or unrhymed. It must have a minimum of two lines. The theme is "puns" and it may or may not have to do with boating, water, ocean, the Thames River, other rivers, streams, creeks, lakes, showers, bathtubs, water bottles, ice cubes, ship-building, sailors, kayaks, paddle-boats, pirates, ducks, fish, sprinkler systems, water erosion, glaciers, technology, or your pet. In other words, the subject is "oh-pun." In case you are wondering what a pun is, here are two examples:
Knights are joust out for a good time. (Joust sounds like "just" and jousting is what knights do.)
Sign on a barber shop: Till death do we part. ("Part" can mean separate, but it can also mean to divide hair with a comb, which is what a barber or beautician does.)

The contest winner will win half of the prize pool which is based on the number of entries. The second and third place winners will each share the remaining prize pool. The prize pool is currently 20.00 member dollars. There are 13 spots still open. If all open spots are used the prize pool will be 72.00 member dollars. In this contest at least 2 submissions must be made for the vote to begin.

Deadline: Contest is closed. Deadline was Tuesday, August 20, 2019.
