Trimeric Treat

Poetry Contest
The form for this contest is a trimeric. The due date is August 16, 2019. A trimeric is 13 lines long. There is no rhyme pattern required, but you may use rhyme if you want. The first four lines set up the poem. Then when you arrive at line 5, line 2 is going to be repeated. When you arrive at line 8, line 3 is going to be repeated. When you arrive at line 11, line 4 is going to be repeated. This means that it is really a 10-line poem, with 3 lines repeated. The first four lines make up one stanza. The next three lines make up a second stanza. The next three lines make up the third stanza. And the last three lines make up the fourth stanza.

The sequence of lines, then, is abcd, b ? -, c ? -, d ? -.

There is no line length, meter, or rhyme requirement or limit.
Below is an example (which happens to rhyme, but again, a rhyme scheme is not required):

Whisky Works

He zig-zagged up the steep hill

much too drunk to walk a line.

Winter weather laid down a chill

with ice on that steep incline.

Much too drunk to walk a line

he headed home, had time still.

Unless he fell he'd be fine.

Winter weather laid down a chill

as he staggered up the hill.

He'd make it; he had the will.

With ice on that steep incline?

(he had lots of time to kill)

his anti-freeze worked just fine.
