Lesson
Poetry Contest

Write a properly formed limerick (or multiple limericks) about a lesson learned. See contest details for structure and examples.
Limerick structure:
-triplet cadence (three clicks per beat)
-five lines with AABBA rhyming schematic
-four beats on lines 1/2/5, two on lines 3/4. Conventionally, there is at least a partial break on the last beat of the long lines.
Here is an example featuring different limerick lengths within the same structure. Stanzas 3 and 5 feature more syllables with a shorter-than-typical gap at the ends of the first two lines, but still conform to the triplet cadence.
