Norse mythology

Write a story based on Norse mythology.... It can be about a Valkyrie or someone from one of the nine worlds. Someone who interacts with the Norse gods and then embarks on a life-threatening quest to save the world.... No more than 4,500 words.

The contest winner will win the full prize pool. This is a winner take all contest. In this contest at least 2 submissions must be made for the vote to begin.
