Poetry Contest
The topic for this poetry contest is: Autumn Rarities and Reflections.
Write a poem between 5 lines and 40 lines that describes something rarely seen except at autumn time, or something that you find reflected in some way during the autumn season. It can include things, people, events, or places, either outside in nature or indoors. It can include holidays everyone has heard of, or special days nearly no one has heard of, too. Form is Poet's Choice. Feel free to identify your chosen form in the author notes.

The contest winner will win half of the prize pool of 72.00 member dollars. In this contest at least 2 submissions must be made for the vote to begin.

This contest requires "blind" entries. That means your posted work will have no means to identify you when viewed. Your name and other information will not be shown.     This is a topic based contest. Please consider the topic: Autumn Rarities and Reflections. Poets were not required to write specifically about the topic but it should be incorporated into the poem. It does not need to be in the title nor anywhere in the body of the poem. Minimum 5 lines, maximum 40.

This contest is full. There are no reserved spots remaining. There are a limited number of entries. A vote by writers will determine the winner. The decision is final. All members that submit a work are encouraged to vote. One entry per person. New entries to the site only. If you already posted a work on that work is not eligible for a contest.
