Short Story Time Travel Challenge
The topic for this contest is: TIME TRAVEL.
Write a story that is based on Time Travel. The story has to be specifically about Time Travel. The story should clearly incorporate the topic into the story. How the character travels through time should be believable. Make it believable to the reader. The writer must clearly state how this took place, and if the character returns to his or her normal time of residence that must be clearly explained also.
Creative approaches are welcomed. But contest voters will be asked to consider this topic very seriously when making a choice for a winner.
Minimum length 700 words. Maximum Length 1,500 words. Recommended length 1,100 - 1,500 words.
The contest winner will win half of the prize pool which is based on the number of entries. The second and third place winners will each share the remaining prize pool. The prize pool is currently 49.00 member dollars. There are 11 spots still open. If all open spots are used the prize pool will be 126.00 member dollars. In this contest at least 5 submissions must be made for the vote to begin.
