A Good Samaritan

Poetry Contest
Write a poem about any person who came across good fortune and decided to share their blessing with other people. People that they knew personally, and also people that they didn't know. If you don't know of a real person, it's okay to make up a fictional person. The person doesn't have to share (directly) with people only. They may share in any way they wish. The poem must have a rhyme scheme. It can be of any kind rhyme scheme that the poet chooses. The poet must involve his reader in any way that the poet wishes. But the poet must involve the reader directly within (a part of) the poem. The poem must contain a word count of not less than 200 words. And not more than 300 words. Be creative. Have fun.

The contest winner will win half of the prize pool which is based on the number of entries. The second and third place winners will each share the remaining prize pool. The prize pool is currently 16.00 member dollars. There are 14 spots still open. If all open spots are used the prize pool will be 72.00 member dollars. In this contest at least 2 submissions must be made for the vote to begin.

Deadline: Contest is closed. Deadline was Saturday, March 31, 2018.
