When life throws you in the storms, what do you focus on to make you happy? How can you go to the other side to joy? What would you say to someone who needs an inspiration or encouragement, been there story.
Dr Seuss, wrote stories. His latest release is "Would a new pet make you happy?"
Parade magazine reported on new coloring books for adults as stress busters. What color makes you happy and why? Do you decorate your house in a Zen color scheme?
Are you trying new restaurants or exploring the states or countries this summer? These are ideas to get you going on what makes you happy. Share the joy! You have a head- start on me since I'm on the road again to Denver!
This is a story based contest but for you poetry lovers, you can convert this prose into a haibun. Look at Poetry Soup website and check out Fireflies by Heather Ober.

Minimum length 500 words. Maximum Length 2,000 words.
The contest winner will win half of the prize pool which is based on the number of entries. The second and third place winners will each share the remaining prize pool. The prize pool is currently 25.00 member dollars. There are 13 spots still open. If all open spots are used the prize pool will be 90.00 member dollars. In this contest at least 2 submissions must be made for the vote to begin.
