Write a haiku on the subject of the Moon.

17 syllables OR LESS
(Does NOT have to be 5-7-5 syllables)
3 lines (short/long/short)
Present tense
Two grammatically interconnected lines of concrete imagery in lines 1 and 2, and a satori (moment of insight) in line 3
No caps (except proper names, etc.)
Minimal punctuation
NO personification (attributing human qualities to animal or object)
ARTWORK WELCOMED
Title like this: haiku (first line)



The contest winner will win half of the prize pool of 90.00 member dollars. In this contest at least 2 submissions must be made for the vote to begin.
