I was merely an old coot
Fortunate to be alive
I had no great feats to tell
Or any works to archive

While I was so very ill
I wrote a complete stage play
The worst that ever was writ
But I finished it-HooRay!

God saw fit to let me live
And then He focused my sight
On FanStory, ‘twas last June
Now I had a place to write

Through infections and covid
I wrote and wrote and wrote more
Each day I would look forward
New ideas to explore

My works left much to desire
But I learned from your reviews
And after months of writing
I now rejoice in good news

God was very good to me
And you all have been good friends
Now with God’s grace I’ll reach 500
Soon, before my story ends
