When a storm comes in

Forces of Weather

by Monica Chaddick

The storm comes rolling in with force
Darkness, of course
Thunder, lightening
All frightening

Thunder rumbling shakes our house
Feel like a mouse
Hide in my bed
Fears in my head

Waters rising flooding highways
Night slips away
Showing damage
We must manage
