Footprints
Write one chapter in a seven chapter book (no limit on length of chapter; however, it must be no shorter then 500 words. No sexual content, please.) that starts like this:
I was walking in the woods when suddenly I saw something strange on the path ahead of me. There were millions of tiny footprints coming out of the bushes crossing the path, and disappearing in the bushes on the other side. I'd never seen anything so strange.
There will only be six chapters in this book. So there will only be six open spots in this contest. Each person will choose a chapter. Each Chapter will be written in turn paying attention to the chapter before.
This being said chapter 1 must be written first followed by chapter 2 and so on. Folks in the contest are allowed to talk to each other about the chapters. All chapters must go together. Like a short book.
In the contest discussions board write in the chapter number you wish to write. If it's already taken then you must choose another one until all six chapters are taken.
