Rhyme/Free Verse Mixture
Poetry Contest
Please write a mixture of rhyme and free verse on ANY topic you wish.
There must be TWO 4-lined rhymed quatrains to START, followed by a portion of free verse presented in RANDOM LENGTH lines and stanzas (in STRAIGHT lines), and then TWO more rhymed 4-lined quatrains to FINISH.
The free verse portion MUST consist of at least THIRTY words.
TWO colours only allowed for presentation. That's one for the background, and one for the text.
NO artwork or music allowed.
NO author's notes allowed.
'Description' MUST state the total word count, and nothing else.
TOTAL maximum words allowed is 200.
PLEASE do NOT promote above 52 cents.
