...rich with metaphorical passages that sift the ravages of a crazy war through the bitter yet satirical screen of a veteran's accounting...
All of the poems are terrific, but in the end I chose the poem 'Brothers', as it moved me the most.
What a tough decision. But because I was married to a Viet Nam vet, I felt a real connection.
Harsh the imagery, harsh the reality. Good write
Great job
A most intriguing question by the author. "Which of the seven natural holes of the human body would I seek to keep?" Hmmm! "I'd keep em all!" Commendably penned, "my friend!"

thank you-
Deep grief and gratitude; high craft and creativity.
This piece mesmerized me with its rhythm and strong word choices. The lyricism triggered Jellical Ball-like images and tunes as I read it. Though I come from the opposite end of the faith continuum, I couldn't help but applaud the author's personal testimony. It opens a great conversation for anyone willing to listen with open heart and open mind.
Sheer tongue-tying delight!
Outstanding on numerous levels, but this part nudged the vote choice, which had loitered between this and "Let's Get Metaphysical" :

writes its epitaph
in shades of choice
Those lines gave me goose bumps. Perfect delivery. The whole poem has wonderful nuances with an abundance of artistic alliteration
Wonderful writes all - this one was very touching.
