G. Walters: Ugh I hate this new layout and the purple hurts my eyes! |

G. Walters: If you're introducing a new character that the MC had a "one night sexual rendezvous" with and it brings the memory back and she's reliving it in her head, how much is too much at one time? |

G. Walters: Happy 4th everyone! |

G. Walters: Need a good laugh?? Check out my 300 word story about what happened to me last night. It's called Midnight Obstacle. |

G. Walters: Have you ever found yourself pacing with your laptop as you try to figure out a way to phrase something in a unique way?? I have and dropped the damn thing. |
||
My laptop's attached to the wall by a squillion cords, so no, I don't walk around with it. Just as well, I'd trip over a cat if I tried. -

G. Walters: Do any of you find it hard to get work published that has been "posted" in here for critique? Every publishing company I'm finding says they want "first time publishing rights". |

G. Walters: I'm strutting around like a peacock with feather spread for the world to see! I figured out how to snake the toilet when my husband couldn't. HA! He says one of the reasons he loves me is because of the fact that I don't need him. |

Are your feathers stained by your escapade in the crapper? Call the Guinness Book of Records; this is a monumental milestone. :) -

G. Walters: I'm going to attempt grabbing at least another hour of sleep. A quick recap of my accomplishments: 1. Poem posted: Lonely Hearts - a poem that tells the story of singles meeting on the dance floor. 2. Poem posted: Growth of a Poet - a poem that attempts to compare one learning to be a poet with the trials and errors a child growing up 3. Gothic Love, Chapter 1 "To Kiss or Not" has been edited in an attempt to actually SHOW and NOT TELL. Would appreciate reviews on all if anyone is willing. |

G. Walters: Took forever to fall asleep due to the fact that my brain wanted to continue to work on the chapter revision. An a hour and a half later, I awake immediately to those of rewrites. Welcome back to writing. Hopefully, the rewrite I did on Chapter one works. |

G. Walters: Gothic Love, Chapter 1 - To Kiss or Not is edited and posted. Thanks to all who gave very helpful reviews. I can only hope that I've in some way grasped the art of "showing and not telling". |
||
|
G. Walters: UGH! Maybe I'm just not cut out to be a novelist. I can't wrap my brain around "showing not telling". |

G. Walters: I've posted a new short poem called, Growth of a Poet. I'm not sure I like it. If you feel like reading it I could sure use some feedback. |

G. Walters: New poem posted, Lonely Hearts. |

|
G. Walters: I wonder how much time a novelist spends on their books each day? |
