I'm unable to get into my profile. I know my credit card gets charged monthly so I'm up to date with payments. This has happened before. Does anyone else seem to have this problem? is this a tech issue?

Siouxsun:

Please forgive me. This book I have started here has been progressing rather slowly. I have so many different things I want to write and of varying genres. I wish I could focus on just one at a time but I find myself thinking so intently about another that I am compelled to write what is on my mind and in my heart at the time. I don't want to lose any of it.

Donya Quijote: I'm not a Roman nor a slave to frivolity why should I care about these gladiatorial games? No matter who wins we lose...
    February 3, 2013 at 10:38PM
Siouxsun: Because sports are games that are fun to watch. Its not like its boxing where they deliberately beat each other to a pulp until some one is unconscious or close to it.Although I do admit that some in the games do go over board and try to inflict physical harm on the members of the other team but it is frowned upon and there are penalties in place to deal with the unruly.
    February 4, 2013 at 9:11PM

Siouxsun:

I'm sorry if I offend anyone with my review. It is not at all my intention.I am just trying to offer others what I myself expect. An honest evaluation with some kind helpful ideas or advice if you think it is needed. That is why we are here right?

February 2, 2013 at 6:22PM
Twilightspire: Don't even worry about it. As long as you are firm but nice, you should be good. The reviews you have done for me have been fair and informative.
    February 2, 2013 at 6:43PM
nor84: Some people expect they should get all five-star reviews, but 5 stars means there's nothing to correct. If you follow the site guidelines and review fairly, there's even a chance at a real $100 from reviewing. The site has a monthly reviewing contest.
    February 2, 2013 at 7:53PM
Siouxsun: Thank you that's encouraging to hear I don't like offending people. I really liked this particular story I commented on. I think sometimes there are certain stories where a writer's heart is so much more emotionally involved than other stories they pen and even a mild suggestion may touch a nerve. Particularly when writing from their own experience or of someone close to them. Maybe I need to be sure to explain my self-better when handling this type of work.
    February 2, 2013 at 9:17PM
Twilightspire: Some people are also over-sensitive when accepting critique.
    February 2, 2013 at 9:33PM
    Siouxsun: This is true too!
    February 2, 2013 at 9:54PM
redrider6612: Members aren't allowed to defend their work. Please do everyone a favor and report them.

A book by our feinerthoughts

The King's Crown Is Upside Down, by Fanstory's Robin Feiner, is a children's picture book for ages 7 and up.

Delightfully told in rhyming verse, this story features a young hero (Sophie) who encourages a self-conscious king to show himself even though he is different. Sensitive and silly, this vibrantly illustrated tale will show readers that when we embrace diversity and difference, we open up a world of friendship and possibilities.

Order this title in paperback for the child in your life at Amazon.com for only $10.50.

A book by our own barbara.wilkey.

Paige Swanson inherits her aunt's mansion and moves to Savannah, Georgia. There she meets Cash Wilkins, the architect hired to restore the home to its full glory, and Bradley, the resident ghost - a Confederate soldier killed in the Battle of Chickamauga.

Locals believe Civil War treasure's hidden in the mansion. Paige's new home becomes a target for thieves. Both Cash and Bradley vie to protect her. Who will succeed? Will Paige find an even greater treasure; romance with Cash?

This novel weaves a tale of romance, history, and ghostly mystery that keeps readers enthralled from the first page to the last. Buy It On Amazon
