mythycrick: I have logged a very short story called Aaron Farter and Company, which has received reviews. I have published 2 novels, both available on Kindle: Paradise is not Heaven - This follows the regeneration of a planet destroyed by human beings through the actions of gods and using another planet as a guide to obeying the Creator's Law that mankind should not use any element that cannot be replaced, so preserving Creator's creation. I used AuthorHouse to publish this book, but I have not found them helpful in the promotion of my work, for instance they could not tell me who to contact to organise in-store book signings. I found their service expensive with no return on investment. The Faller Destinies - This is a wishful thinking auto biography of the 3 years following my divorce. It does give some insight into my life with a UK export orientated company prior to the divorce. I think this was the book I had to write. This time I went direct to Amazon/Kindle to publish and have set up my own publishing company. I have been disappointed by the lack of sales, but I suppose it might be early days yet. I have written a number of stories set on the planet Velchtis and I hope to start publishing later this year. The stories start with the creator of the universe appointing 4 people to be the gods for the planet. Then to what could be termed the middle ages and I am planning a modern look at life on Velchtis. Obviously these are fantasy, but they do not rely on magic, but more on human endeavour. I have a website mythycrick where I have a number of very short stories and blogs and an essay on how I see the world and suggestions on how to improve life of people. |
