INFORMATION
I am a 80 yr old grandmother with two sons. My husband of 62 years has had a ruptured aorta, two strokes and a fractured hip. We both use mobility scooters as I have arthritis.
I love painting water colours, the house is full of them. I'm running out of wall space.
My story about Simon Skipaldino has just been published in a book of children's short stories by United Press. I feel so elated.
I have ben included in the 2011 issue of the Poets of the Year. My poem Love is Forever ia featured in the book. I am delighted.

MadgeBrawn: I have written children's stories, poems
I have a children's story called Simon Skipaldino which I would like to get published.
I have self published my book of poems with Lulu.com it is called A Pocket Full of Poems written for our local Stroke Association to go in the newsletter fortnightly. Also a book of children's stories called Troggins Tales which I illustrated. My auto biography is now in the local library. I recent;ly won the National Poetry Competition run by United Press for my Christmas Poem.
