I am a military veteran of the Marine Corp, and Army Guard. I grew up in a small town in Tennessee. I am a lover of writing Poetry, and Painting pictures, of many kinds. Back to writing and doing my art work, I have decided to dedicate A Poetry book to my Best Friends, (MOM) Evelyn and to those of my readers who enjoy the beauty of poetry, and what it means.
Poetry to me is words telling a story with a song. The story is there not unlike a book. But the words are like music they carry a tune that reaches out and grabs your heart. Sometimes leaving you with a smile, or a tear, poetry makes readers feel and see what the words hold in them.
I only hope those words and lines with heartfelt feelings which come from my mind. Leave a legacy with you enjoying whatever you take from my writings. As a new writer to the writing feild I am learning. I enjoy writing but have much learning to do to even reach where I would love to be.
Writing I have been doing for a long time. But sharing I have not. So this is my time for sharing an recieveing the much needed help to get to where I wish to be. That is to be a well enjoyed writer who draws people into his work. I want people to love what I write and feel the graps of the words as they leave the paper and enter into their minds.
A well written story or poem can brighten ones day, put a smile on their face,or even leave a tear in their eyes. These are things I wish to give to you as readers.
