Helen Tan:

OK, let's see how many people actually read the profile of this writer. =D

I've been travelling through parts of Bali since 14th June - Seminyak and Lovina. Now, I'm sitting on the patio of Sri Sunari, a bed and breakfast in Ubud. It's located in the midst of a padi field so as I type, the crickets chirp in a long whistle, cows bellow (though it's 9pm, maybe it has a stomach ache), frogs croak, roosters crow (probably lost track of time) and one of them seems to be hiccuping. Lizards crawl on woven rattan ceilings and add their scratching noise to the whir of the fan. This is life - relaxing to the symphony of nature.

I hope to go white water rafting in two days' time, weather permitting.

Hope all of you are well. =D =D =D

Helen Tan: Hi TurtleStage5, how do you know when someone posts something on their profile? I'm curious.

Oh yes, I'm also being bitten by a couple of mosquitoes ... that should make your kitchen cleaning more appealing. =D

Turtle... who?: Under the Profile tab, there's an option for forums, In the forums, there is an option called Profile Thoughts where people's profile comments get posted for everyone to see for a little bit of time...

Helen Tan: Thanks Bill, Adrienne and Belinda for your support and wishes. In fact, I should thank everyone who has read this short story.

I'm going through a difficult period and most days I'm wobbling like a messy blob of jello on earthquake prone land. I will treasure this win but much more than this, I treasure the warmth and understanding I have received from so many of you.

My FS subscription has been renewed so when life settles, I'm praying it will be soon, ??I'll be back.?

A book by our feinerthoughts

The King's Crown Is Upside Down, by Fanstory's Robin Feiner, is a children's picture book for ages 7 and up.

Delightfully told in rhyming verse, this story features a young hero (Sophie) who encourages a self-conscious king to show himself even though he is different. Sensitive and silly, this vibrantly illustrated tale will show readers that when we embrace diversity and difference, we open up a world of friendship and possibilities.

A book by our own barbara.wilkey.

Paige Swanson inherits her aunt's mansion and moves to Savannah, Georgia. There she meets Cash Wilkins, the architect hired to restore the home to its full glory, and Bradley, the resident ghost - a Confederate soldier killed in the Battle of Chickamauga.

Locals believe Civil War treasure's hidden in the mansion. Paige's new home becomes a target for thieves. Both Cash and Bradley vie to protect her. Who will succeed? Will Paige find an even greater treasure; romance with Cash?

This novel weaves a tale of romance, history, and ghostly mystery that keeps readers enthralled from the first page to the last. Buy It On Amazon
