Interests
Too many interests, not enough hours.
Alice Farnsworth is a Canadian who started to write many years ago as an outlet for her emotions when she began her journey to physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health.

On this quest, she was introduced to the Native Spiritual Philosophy and has adopted many of their Sacred Teachings into her life. Along the way, she has met many wonderful teachers who have helped her to find balance. Her poetry is an expression of her experience of this transition time that we call life.

She is 30 years married and has two grown up children of her own, a couple of foster children and lots that she has "borrowed" over the years (She has run an in-home daycare for twenty-five years.). She lives with her husband and three dogs and, since they had the extra room anyway, an exchange student from South Korea.

Her current interests include flyball and other canine classes, camping and hiking, home improvement, church related committees and classes, sacred traditional ceremonies, taking academic classes for herself and writing. She has plans for several novels but her busy life allows no time at the moment.

Retirement is coming up on the horizon and she is hoping that once she no longer puts ten and twelve hours per day into the career that she loves, she can put more hours into writing.

Well it looks like it will be the new year before I have a minute to call my own. I am missing you all here on Fanstory. Right now, I am in the middle of finishing a book for publication which I am co-authoring. It is taking a lot of my time. Along with everything else that life throws my way. LOL

Have a wonderful fall and winter, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

A book by our feinerthoughts

The King's Crown Is Upside Down, by Fanstory's Robin Feiner, is a children's picture book for ages 7 and up.

Delightfully told in rhyming verse, this story features a young hero (Sophie) who encourages a self-conscious king to show himself even though he is different. Sensitive and silly, this vibrantly illustrated tale will show readers that when we embrace diversity and difference, we open up a world of friendship and possibilities.

Order this title in paperback for the child in your life at Amazon.com for only $10.50.
