"adorn nature's dress" works quite well for the spirit of haiku. Great picture too.

I don't know if you meant this to be oxymoronic - the things buried covering something else - but it trips the mind and makes one reread the haiku. I like it.

Wow! Remind me to never go swimming in those waters!!!! I can`t even imagine seeing an smphibian that large, never mind being drug under water by it. Creeeeeeepy!! Lol.
