What a wonderful message in your poem. I agree we
must think of others when we make decisions. My
husband always says, "I think of how it will
affect you before I make a decision."
To me, this is true love. There is no "I" in self
only ego.

What a beautiful expression of love this is. I
most enjoyed this verse with the catchy phrase
of a thousand questions
a thousand glances
a thousand steps.
Wonderfully done, my friend. It can also be a
faith poem about God.

I agree this is very scary and evil for the
devastation it causes. I watched the TV mesmerized
watching the tornado as it hit Oklahoma. To imagine
a mile long with winds up to 200 mph....it's
mind-blowing.
My prayers are sent to all to counteract the work of
the devil.

money in my day and we were fortunate to catch one
as it floated by.

How very true this is. It time of trouble they can
be relied on to help us. With all these natural
disasters going on, we turn to them for help.
This is a great poem and also a wonderful tribute
to our paramedics, police and firemen.
