This lovely poem has a great message as well as an impacting view of snow capped mountains and a fold with scrub bushes and trees. When walking and you have a thirst the trees can provide rest during the long night. When you have arthritic joints, pain can color a beautiful view with clouds, but your concluding lines are so right that soon renewed spirit and renewed life in time will come.

As a retired RN I can tell you a positive attitude and expectation of full recovery is essential to your results! You're all set in that attitude I must say! I'll be sending prayers skyward for your May ninth "tune up" as we corny nurses call it....

Very nice visual. The poem says so much about our journey through life. I am glad to hear that you are getting a knee replacement. My left shoulder in a bone on bone and it pains sometimes, but I am determined to not have a shoulder replacement until I feel like I need an arm versus like I am losing one. They say it takes a year or longer for the shoulder to heal UGH. Again, I wish you luck with the surgery. I have only ever heard good things about people's knee replacements. Beautiful poem!!
