I think this is a good entry for the Sedoka writing prompt.
Your verse speaks of the play that takes place under the sun and moon.
Well done and good luck to you with this one in the competition.

I really enjoyed your presentation of your poem, "Why Stars Shimmer." It is thoroughly delightful to read and I love both pictures. This is a great example of a sedoka poem.

-Good artwork and presentation.
-Notes are appreciated.
-Syllable count is good.
-Good imagery and contrast
between the sun and moon
in the two verses.
-The second verse also
has effective alliteration and personification.
-A good entry; good luck.

I remember when I was a little girl, the neighborhood kids would walk on Saturday mites. That was one of highlights of the times. Back then there were far more stars in the sky than seen today. And we used to pick images that seemed to appear in the stars. This puece reminds me of those times. Thanks for sharing

The poem is beautifully displayed lovers in light, lovers in dark. my favorite part was:
Sword Dance - One of the three chief English dances of Medieval times. It was a ritualistic and ceremonial drama danced by men with swords and elaborate costumes while parading through the streets. It depicted the death of the old year

This was soooooo interesting to me thanks for the teach. yours, diana
