This is a great piece about a dream. It is so powerful, filled with excellent metaphors for interpretation. It flows so well--nothing to change there. If I may be so bold as to offer a suggestion? " A weird dream had fire scorching our souls." Just because the beginning of a piece makes such a big difference.

I have the weirdest dreams, some people seem to dream things that would happen in every day life... so "normal" and I always think I must be very strange. But I think if you really dissect this dream, you can glean what is meant for you to understand. It reminds me of Revelations, where in the end times there is disaster and a reckoning. Some kind of danger must be sitting at the back of your awareness. It could be a sign for caution in some area of your life.

I have the weirdest dreams, some people seem to dream things that would happen in every day life... so "normal" and I always think I must be very strange. A wise therapist would ask you with all due gravity...."What do YOU think it meant?"----but alas, I am no therapist....so there ya go...it is a wild mish mash of anxiety and stress coalescing around normal things that are displaced in dreams to stir the weary and frightened soul. That's what it feels like to this reader. That being said....true dream or not....you express yourself in a stark and very sharp way and make me sit up and take notice. Karenina

Somehow this dreams seems to be telling me the fact that we are our own enemies. I guess that's probably a way to interpret this. Thank you for sharing this poem, and hope you'll have sweeter dreams. :)

Dreams are often nonsensical with an element of truth or something in your daily routine that stars in your dream, to understand them would be great. Your poem is a confusion of different thoughts that bring unrest and distruption. Love Dolly x

I must admit I have some dreams that I remember, but the vast majority just vanish into the ether from whence they came. But I've never had repetitive dream. Joseph in the Old Testament was a dream reader who became second to Pharaoh because of his gift. Daniel also preditcted historical events to this time, deadly acurated, Nostradamus is a schoolboy in comparison. Well done, beautifully written my friend in free verse. Blessings, Roy
