Very musical iambic tetrameter verses, Roy You have posted a swarm of poems since the first of the year, and for craftsmanship, this one rates high.

Simply beautifully written, makes tears come to my eyes in thanksgiving...God sits upon His throne, sees all, and knows all, we need only to give Him praise...Your rhymed quatrain verses were appreciated, and My hope does remain in Christ the Lord...
Thanks for sharing this with us, encouragement is always welcomed, what a friend we have in Jesus...Blessings,

Warmly,
Victoria...

This is really reminiscent of the Psalms, you have that same kind of imagery, of seeing God in the nature around you, and describing Him in those natural images of wind, rain, sunshine, and flowers. The meter is nice and upbeat, the rhyme scheme chimes along, it is a nice musical, upbeat, praise piece estory

Cheers, Roy;
-beautiful line you've written in your verse that reads, "and ride the beams above the storm", I really like this line because of its metaphorical implications about rising above evil.
-All throughout your writing there was a sense of perspective of spiritual well-being and strength which is all conveyed into enjambment to close smoothly throughout the writing.
-The great rhyming words which were contingent to the meaning and concept of each line help the understanding of the poem and the fluidity of the reading.
-Thanks for sharing this, Roy, and take care and have a good one.
Alex

Your spiritual poem is nice. No matter what happened in their life or what they have to go through, they keep their mind on the Lord.
Your couplets are very rhyming.
Good luck with your poem.

Despite not being a man of faith, I find these kind of sentiments fascinating -- the hope and near-certainty that everything's going to be all right in the end -- that really, if you believe, there is no end. Your metaphors of barren fields and rainless skies are evocative of hopeless times, but the following two lines are just gorgeous poetry:

When harps and flutes have ceased to play,
and twilight's fingers capture day.

A strong write, my friend. I can tell you were soaring when you wrote this.

Hello Roy
As I was reading your poem about having faith
I think of Jesus in the Wilderness for forty days had Faith in his Father and the Holy Spirit
could of thought
(yes, I quoting a few lines from your amazing poem-
I dwell in realms that lie beyond
the thoughts and fears the soul doth bond.

It's said that a picture speaks a thousand words as it does in your wonderful choice of using this one; but, your verse speaks volumes about faith and trust in the Almighty; quite inspirational/uplifting poem and as ever, beautifully rhymed; thanks for the treat my friend.

Habbakuk 3:17-18 is not a verse, or the entire book, that's often read from the Bible. Thank you for bringing it to light. I enjoyed reading your poem.
