Hueing away the Jewish culture for this fellow is going to be hard but miracles still happen. I'm sure we will see the results pretty soon. You have a knack for keeping things rolling that way. LOL.

Thank you, for this chapter. I need a coffee so I will finish making it now. This chapter reminded me of that. Thank you, :D

Drew definitely has his hands full winning Shana's love.
Battling an obsessive father will do that to you.
As far as details.
One rule I try to incorporate and have not always been good at is: do the details advance or tell something about the characters, story, setting, etc...
If not, I tend to eliminate them and then read the story over again.
I caught myself adding too much detail in my last book in some chapters, and not enough in others.
It's a fine line, but ultimately the details rest with the writer.
I, for one, as a reader don't mind details at all.

Hi, Barbara

This chapter flowed beautifully. Your dialogue was right on point and gives the reader plenty of information. Being the excellent and experienced writer you are, you develop a perplexing conflict for the potential lovers, and one not easily overcome.

I'm very much looking forward to reading more. Very well done!

:) Bev

I think you have the detail perfectly, not too much and not too little. Just keep on doing what you do, Barbara, I love you writing. Now, this part reveals what we'd all begun to suspect, Drew is in love with Shana. But, there will be consequences. Shana is too much a devout Jew, how will they overcome that? I'm sure something will be resolved. It's nice that he can help the family with Sarah and I hope they can cure her. Wonderful part, Barbara, and I am now looking forward to the next part! Sandra xx

So Shana is not going to be an easy catch. Drew is in for the long haul. Let's see if he has the stamina. For some reason I think he does. I certainly hope so. All the best. Ulla:)))

I bet Drew does too. He usually gets what he wants, but his money won't do it. I appreciate the kind review.

"I haven't seen the stubborn side of Shana. Are you saying it may be impossible." "I didn't say that. I haven't missed the way she looks at you. I doubt it's been unnoticed by Uncle Benjamin either." AMAZING writing as always Barbara. I always enjoy your writing so much and look forward to reading more. Excellent loved this chapter bring on the next! Kindest regards and warmest wishes Meia x

So Anderson comes clean at last. not that it is a surprise. lol

I'm guessing Shana knows she feels the same given the awkward floor glances...

Are you saying it may be impossible." - probably need a question mark in here.
