This 5-7-5 addressing writer's block, A Useless Muse, has the correct format and seem to imply that the writer has had his limit and needs to 'sleep it back on'. Funny.

A very well-written 5-7-5 porn about writer's block. It seems to have a mind of its own and knows when we are in urgent need of their expertise and then refuse to help us out until we fall asleep to get some rest.

Wow, very true. It is all about the muse! When we are stuck with craziness, what is left. Minds are a whirl and no words twirl in our minds. Yes, indeed!

LOL - alright, so what you are saying, author, is when the muse overloads on the use of words, he just comes off sounding silly. (Or one could say, "Brevity equals brilliance", yes? LOL) But isn't the prompt that the muse is STUCK for words?
Best of luck in the booth.

Too many words? Usually it is too few words that causes writer's block but I suppose your muse has blown a fuse, good luck with the contest, love Dolly x

I admired your musing about writer's block--pun intended! Your use of "verbose" intoxication" and rhyme in this 5-7-5 is very effective. Best wishes in the competition- Joan
