Definitely a treat. I didn't get to see it all... I just saw a beautiful, massive moon outside my office window, so close I felt I could reach out and touch it. It had a lovely, blurred ring around it, and it was very mystical.
Your short piece--I sort of hate these short forms because there is so little to critique--affected me, brought back my memories sharply, and so was evocative, and you employed very effective language. Nice work.

Perfect reversed syllabi count and beautiful description of a once in a life time experience. Unfortunately, where I live it was a rather cloudy night but I managed to view the eclipse. Yes, that is where the saying came from 'Once in a Blue Moon' meaning when two full moons happen in one month.
