This is a good story, and I liked the ending. When there is true love, things can be forgiven. The characters, the dialogue, all were realistic. I didn't see any grammar or punctuation errors. The story read well too. Nice job.

Stellar writing on all levels. Error-free. Evenly-paced. Dramatic. For me, the best part about this story is the deep first-person point of view. You give your readers a glimpse into the mind of your main character that emotes fear, guilt, anger, regret, and solace. This is conflict on the emotional level. This could easily find an audience outside of FS. Great job.

Thanks, Dan. Your praise means a lot. Very often I doubt myself and kind words like yours are very helpful.

Oh, good. A happy ending. I hate sad stories.

This held my attention all the way through, so I'd say it was well written. 8-)

However, I think if you've done wrong, it's best to keep it to yourself. No sense in two people suffering. Telling on spreads the hurt and shame.

Good entry for the club.

I do agree. Amy should have kept it to herself...

A very well-written poem. There are many people who will never think about being unfaithful to their partners. When an opportunity occurs they may be blind sided and do the unthinkable. When they come to their senses it is better to spill the beans, come clean with the partner and hope for forgiveness on their side.

This was so educational Maria, it showed how easy it was to be swayed to the wrong way of life. Even though Amy was given sound advice she chose not to listen. She and Ron were lucky to be able to survive her affair, not many are that lucky. Well done, good reading, thanks.

He's a good guy. He gets me.
At least he was hoping he would. Sounds like a Freudian slip. I have never understood the woman's need to tell their husband. It's like the whole reason for the affair was to tell him.

I don't get what you mean by the Freudian slip. Did I make a mistake with my pronouns?
    Thanks for reading.

This is an interesting story about something that happens all to frequently, and I can relate to it. I, also, was married to a man like you described as the husband - lack of emotion drove me crazy. I'm glad to see that all ended well. Nice job - Cheryl
