I applaud your ode to rama. She does have a vast knowledge of grammar. Your words of praise flow easily with a great tribute to her.

I an no rd, but I see a few places for punctuation help:

There is someone on this site, who when reviews me [when she . . . .]
Gives practical advice; that's rama devi. [small 'g']
A worldly scholar of the English language
Who helps me out, so then my words may vanquish. [small 'w']

When writing prose or rhyme my punctuation [rhymes,]
Is often incorrect; in my creation. [small 'i']
And if I'm lucky rama may review, [lucky, period after review]

Then rights up all� my wrongs, to help me through. [add 'she' rights . . . .]
So rama, on this site I now acknowledge; [comma after So period after acknowledge]]

Appreciate your wisdom and pay homage; [I appreciate . . ]
Respect, and always� follow your direction, [small 'r' delete comma after direction]
When ever words of mine, need your� correction. [whenever]


We need a wise and kind soul on our site
Who'll take their time, to make our writings right. small 'w' delete comma after time]
There's many here who'll help, you would agree [There're]
But for today, my 'Thanks' to rama devi. [small 'b' and use quotation marks "Thanks to rama devi."

Hi Jan, Thank you so much for your review and very helpful suggestions of which I have taken up most of them I want to keep from using the word she so in some instances I have kept my original thoughts. I do however believe this now read much better and agree with the lower case in many lines to complete my sentences. So many Thanks to you for you help also Have a great day Cheers Christine

I try to provide helpful reviews, but have been told where to go and what to do when I get there by many who don't want help. So I mind my p's and q's.

I always listen to rama's advice as she seems to know much about grammar and punctuation etc whic at times I need and I do also appreciate other help as well. I will sometimes give advice if I can but only minor ones. Yes this site is infectious and one keep being drawn into its web LOL. Cheers Christine

A very well-written Heartfelt poem and ode to Rama Devi. My second language is English and I have terrible struggles with the correct punctuation. I agree, Rama Devi rescued me a few times as well, I always take her advice serious and thankfully.

Hi Maria, Thank you for your review and I am not sure if she has read it I hope she may, but if not doesn't matter others have and agreed with my words. And yes one is nearly addicted to this site I rarely wrote before joining only the odd poem for my kids or friends but now I cant stop. LOL Glad to share this one Cheers Christine
