Hi Monica, Yes I did have fun the inner child is still around and never too old to enjoy the small pleasures in life.LOL Alas now back home although I am on leave for another 4 weeks so plent to do around the house. Hi frierjac. Thanks for reading and reviewing my Holiday poem I had a lovely time very relaxing and some fun to boot. We went to the beach area bit my only complaint was the cloudy windy and at time misty rain weather which stopped any day on the beach so I missed my usual sunbakes I did try though but got to cold LOL Still I had lots of time to write Cheers Christine

Hi Mark, Yes always on the look out to do something different It ismy inner child she will not grow up ( Thankfully LOL) Sounds like the weather is freezing in Chicago Brrrr. It is Summer here but Not much hot weather lately i went to the beach to sunbake today and hid under the towel as it was windy , cloudy and misty rain But I was determined to have at least one day on the beach Despite the weather Ha Ha lasted about 1 hour. Don't you fret now, Christine. So a little treat "took your eye." I have a spare eye or two just lyin' around, doin ' nothin' and you're more than welcome to them should you need one.
I agree, the holidays can be stressful but they can also be relaxing too if we allow them to be.
